Memorial Day

Memorial Day this year provokes so much we almost feel soul-numb to its import, at least on the political side of things.

Sometimes we just need someone else to verbalize for us what we're feeling...like this reflection gardening and democracy from Diana Butler Bass.

She reminded me why I plant flowers about this time every year....
