It is ominous when the only thing that can save you is the law.

Perspective is knowing that seeing is not enough — it needs to be fused with reality (which can get skewed w/o perspective).

There is our experience of something in the moment and then there is our evaluation of that experience, which sometimes turns out to feel quite different.
