I often start a walk in the morning when it is still dark and finish when it is fully light.
That liminal space (a nearly imperceivable transition — hard to detect at any given moment, but obvious at each end) is somehow important for me.
It is both symbolic and a metaphor.
The brilliance of the stars before are imperceptible by the end. Much of life seems a bit like this — something there the whole time whether you can see it or not.
We walk in between those realities.
