A little known saying goes: “The worst thing you can do for someone carrying a burden is to take that burden away.” That is a management sin: it makes things easier for the one carrying the burden for a short while, but it also relieves him of his responsibility for the burden. Context is important, isn't it? Things like 'statements' aren't universally true. Words are simply limited in their application.
For example, the above statement strikes me as quite untrue, in certain contexts (like this one). But, in others, I would say the above has a lot of truth in it.
