We better get our collective humanity back before it’s too late.
Sometimes it takes a crisis to re-find it. I'd say we're in one, despite the many claims to the contrary.
Here's one example of how it happens...What Neighbors Do. There, of course, are many others.
But, the overall lack of it has been siphoned off for years under the banner of technology and 401Ks. We've already lost more than we know.
Now is the time to ask more conscious and serious questions about what it means to look out for each other, our relationship with power, and how to govern accordingly (as U2 reminds us, what we've been seeing isn't the humanity we need...and that's not a question).
